I cannot imagine my life without basketball in it!" says Kate Lynch.

At LaSalle Academy in Rhode Island, Kate led her teams to three straight Division I State Basketball Championships and scored a whopping 1,340 career points. Kate was named First Team All-State twice and MVP of the Rhode Island State Championship Finals in 2003 and 2004.

Kate also led her high school Volleyball Team to two State Championships and was named MVP both times.

It was at Southern Connecticut State University, however, that Kate Lynch set and broke all records. From 2004 to 2008, Kate and her Southern Connecticut teams tallied a 103 to 26 win/loss record, were four-time Northeast 10 Conference Champions, Northeast Regional Champions, and 2007 NCAA Division II National Champions.

Playing forward for Coach Joe Frager, Kate became Southern's All-Time Leading Scorer with 1,779 points. She recorded the team's highest free-throw percentage of 80.1 percent.

As Southern Connecticut's 5th All-Time Rebounder, Kate grabbed 650 career rebounds, scored 650 field goals, 235 field goals in a single season, 169 free throws in a single season, and 647 points in a single season.

In recognition of her outstanding play, Kate Lynch was twice named First Team All-American. She was the Northeast Region's Player of the Year and the Northeast 10 Conference Player of the Year. Kate was named Most Valuable Player of the Division II National Championship and the New Haven Tap-Off Club's Female Athlete of the Year.

Currently Head Basketball Coach at Molloy College in New York, Kate Lynch had previously served as Head Coach at the Community College of Rhode Island, Assistant Coach at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and as Director of Basketball Operations at Fairfield University. She guided CCRI to two regional titles and consecutive appearances in the National Junior College Div. II Championships and was named 2013 National Coach of the Year at the junior college/community college level by the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association. During her first season at Molloy, Kate guided the team to its first winning season in three years.
