Bonny Lynch was the most prolific scorer in Farmington High girls’ basketball history. During her 3-year basketball career (1974-1978), she averaged 25 points, seven assists, and four steals per game. Her career total of 1,211 points set a record at Farmington High School. Lynch made All-Conference Team each year and was voted the All-Conference MVP in her senior year. The New Haven Register named her to the All-State Basketball team in both her junior and senior years. In 1978, Lynch was named Teen Magazine’s Supersport of the Year.

Lynch received her bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University and her master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
