Dolan, Marjorie

From 1973 to 1988, Marge Dolan officiated high school and college women’s basketball in Connecticut. A member of the College Board of Officials, refereed numerous college conference and regional championships. She also served as an officer of the basketball officials’ association for ten years.

In 1979, Dolan coordinated East Coast Tryouts for women’s basketball for the National Sports Festival. She went on to become the manager of the National Sports Festival East Team in Colorado Springs and the Women’s Junior National Basketball Team who competed in an international tournament in Squaw Valley, California.

In 1993, Dolan was inducted in the New Agenda Northeast Women’s Hall of Fame.
